Hello All - 

Well, I finally finished the last book in the Twilight series and I must say one thing, WOW,  I was totally impressed!  Great series and well worth the read.  I can understand why it has become such a phenomena.  The story takes a lot of twists and turns and there are definitely some surprises.  You get really involved in the characters and sympathize with their plight. 

I have heard a lot of people bashing this series, especially teenage boys, and I get that too.  There is a lot of romance in the books and at times it does get a bit extreme.  But, the underlying story is fantastic and, better yet, ORIGINAL.  The writer, Stephanie Meyers, deserves everything she gets for this… utterly impressive!  Anyway, back to the point, all the people who have bashed this story need to stop and read it, seriously, IT IS WORTH IT!

To me, the best book is the last one.  I couldn’t put it down.  Understand though, if you don’t read all the books you will not know what’s going on.  There is a lot of background stuff that is absolutely necessary to understand the story.  My rating (#1 being the best, obviously) of the books is as follows:

Breaking Dawn #1
Eclipse  #2
Twilight #3
New Moon #4 

Again, I want to say, you have to read all the books to understand the story, but, you won’t be sorry you did.  Check it out… I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
