MBI Blog Major Changes Coming!

Hello All,

I wanted to update everyone on things here at My Big Imagination. Currently we are working towards a “re-launch.” What do I mean by this? Well, after the re-brand with the new logo, we noticed that things really weren’t flowing as nicely as we’d like. So, with this said, we decided to drastically change everything. Deborah and I spent some time looking at which videos were most popular and why. What we liked and disliked about our YouTube channel and the website. This is what we found…

First, we love the music videos the most. They are a blast to work on and really challenge our creativity. So, this will be a focus in the future. Second, we like “The Phantom,” but playing the same character over and over gets old. Plus his fans, although very loyal, are not as plentiful as we’d like. We think this is due to him targeting a very specific market. So we’ve decided to keep him on board, but will try him in new contexts. Thirdly, to break the monotony, we will be adding a new character. I spoke a bit about this in my vlog a few weeks back. I’ve finally got the costume ready and we should be a go with him soon. Fourth, we will be adding a “true” vlog show. The vlogging i’ve done in the past has always done well in terms of views. Originally, this was something I was not interested in doing. But, it seems that you guys like it… so here we go! Fifth, Deborah will be starting a tutorial type vlog of her own. More info to come! Lastly, we will be adding a cooking show. This is something we will be adding on a separate channel. Deb and I both love to cook. It’s a passion for both of us. We’ve got the equipment, so why not?

These are the main changes to our presence on YouTube. But, wait, there’s more!

We are rebuilding the website… entirely! What I mean by “entirely” is everything from look, to layout, to feel, to focus… everything will change. The new site will be focused on giving viewers and fans the ability to keep track of us and what we are doing at a infinite level. You can have access to anything and everything MBI!

There is so much excitement here for what we are doing. We hope you are excited for these changes also. In the past we’ve done our videos leisurely. Moving forward it will be a whole new experience!

Have fun,

BrAdFeRd

MBI Blog On The Brink (Rap Video)

Hello All,

First, I apologize for not updating the site in forever. Braxton has been keeping me very busy! :-)

This video was a project we worked on for about a month. My brother in law, John (Stareotype in the video), created the music and we decided to make a video out of it. Check him out at Stareotype.com. He recorded his lyrics in his dorm room and I recorded mine in my office about 4 weekends ago. John came to our place for one day of his Spring Break a couple weeks back and we shot the footage on a green screen in the garage. I edited every night after we put Braxton to sleep and almost all day of both weekends. In total, the editing took about 40 hours… I know, I’m crazy!

Anyway, here is the finished project:

Enjoy!

MBI Blog The Phantom Of YouTube

Hello All,

Finally the secret is out!  I’ve been working on a project for the past month that has taken up all of the free time I have.  This free time is limited and special because, as you may know, since our newborn Braxton has come… it ain’t easy to come by!

This is a cover of “The Phantom Of The Opera” by Andrew Lloyd Webber.  I had the pleasure of working with Faireset, Shilshadu and DebbCast (my beautiful wife) on this project.  They did a great job and I can’t thank them enough.  Faireset adapted all the music and edited the video.  He did an amazing job.  Please watch this and pass on to friends.  Make sure to stop by and say hello to all that were involved!  Here it is:

Thank you for staying tuned to my blog and channel!

Have fun,

BrAdFeRd
